In 2008, the wire armoring operation of Gaubert Wire, LLC in New Orleans was purchased by Big Easy Wire.   Gaubert Wire was formerly known as Marine Industrial Cable Corporation, whose primary business was armoring marine type cable for its sister company, L.F. Gaubert & Co., a well-known name in the marine electrical industry.   Big Easy Wire is now running many of Gaubert's braiding machines at our facility.   Ron Wolkens, Gaubert's operations foreman with over 30 years of experience, now works for us.   See our Wire Braiding page for pricing information.
